KLP eyes September debut after Moody’s rating

Norway’s KLP Boligkreditt is close to making its covered bond debut, with a domestic issue targeted for launch this month, according to an official at the issuer, after Moody’s yesterday (Wednesday) assigned a provisional rating to the covered bonds.



DLR gets ‘good level’, new BRF bonds accepted

DLR Kredit is close to bringing to an end the latest round of refinancing auctions by Denmark’s mortgage credit institutions (MCIs), having today (Thursday) finished its auctions of one year ARM bonds, while BRFkredit has said it is pleased with the response to its new, pre-financed bonds.



Nykredit Realkredit in Eu500m euro senior unsecured FRN first

Nykredit Realkredit launched an inaugural senior unsecured Eu500m five year floating rate note on Tuesday, the first time the Danish financial group has issued a euro senior unsecured instrument out of its mortgage credit institution rather than Nykredit Bank.



Strong response as Nordea Norwegian arm makes sterling debut

Nordea Eiendomskreditt made its sterling covered bond debut today (Thursday) with a £500m (Eu627m, Nkr5.11bn) three year FRN that was nearly twice subscribed and said to be the tightest deal in the currency so far, also coming inside theoretical euro new issue levels.



ECB unveils CBPP3 alongside ABS buying, but few details

The European Central Bank (ECB) announced a new covered bond purchase programme (CBPP) to be launched alongside a first ABS purchase programme in October this (Thursday) afternoon — the latter move having been anticipated, although covered bonds had not been in focus.
