Nykredit to start auctions end-Feb, Realkredit Danmark rejigs fives

Nykredit Realkredit will kick off Denmark’s next round of ARM refinancing auctions on 25 February, with Nordea Kredit following suit a day later and Realkredit Danmark starting its auctions on 4 March, according to preliminary information recently announced by the banks.



Moody’s still negative on Finnish banking system

The outlook for the Finnish banking system remains negative, said Moody’s yesterday (Wednesday), citing as driving factors its expectations of a continued weak operating environment, increasing household indebtedness, and high reliance on wholesale funding in the context of prevailing capital markets volatility.

Swedish FSA finalises updated regs, stays close to summer proposals

The Swedish financial supervisory authority published updated covered bond regulations and guidelines last week, with some amendments made to proposals included in a consultation last year, although most changes were adopted as originally put forward, according to an official at the FSA.
